TGT Social Science Teacher Job in South Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment
Teach Social Science subjects including history, geography, political science, and economics to Class 9 and 10 students at The Indian School | New Delhi in Defence Colony, South Delhi. Prepare engaging lesson plans aligned with CBSE curriculum while ensuring comprehensive coverage of topics like Indian heritage, global affairs, and socio-economic dynamics.
Develop and assess student projects, case studies, and group discussions to enhance critical thinking. Collaborate with subject coordinators to refine teaching methods and integrate modern pedagogies like experiential learning and digital tools.
Hold regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address academic challenges. Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters as per school policies.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Social Science with at least four years of teaching experience in relevant subjects. Possession of B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Experience in classroom management and handling diverse student backgrounds is preferred.
