About This Role
Panchsheel Public School is looking for a Music Teacher to oversee and develop its performing arts program. The role involves planning, executing, and managing music-related activities, events, and performances across the school. You will work closely with the school leadership to align music initiatives with the institution’s vision and cultural goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and organize weekly music rehearsals, workshops, and ensemble sessions for students of all age groups.
2. Design and implement a structured music curriculum that supports the school’s extracurricular and co-curricular objectives.
3. Lead the planning and execution of school events such as Annual Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, and inter-house competitions.
4. Coordinate with the art department to integrate music with other performing arts like dance and drama for school productions.
5. Maintain inventory of musical instruments, equipment, and props, ensuring proper storage and usage tracking.
6. Represent Panchsheel Public School at local cultural forums, inter-school festivals, and community music events.
7. Document student progress, attendance, and performance records for assessment and reporting to school leadership.
8. Supervise student participation in online and offline music competitions, festivals, and talent shows.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Music from a recognized university. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required. Prior teaching or administrative experience in a school setting is preferred. Working knowledge of basic computer applications like MS Office and Google Workspace is essential.
