Role Summary

We are looking for a qualified PRT Spanish Teacher to join Paul George Global School in Kalkaji. The role involves teaching Spanish to primary students from Grades 1 to 5. Experience with young learners and familiarity with Delhi’s school curriculum is essential. Candidates should be fluent in Spanish and English and capable of creating engaging lesson plans.

What You Will Do

1. Teach Spanish to primary students using age-appropriate methods.
2. Prepare daily lesson plans aligned with the school’s academic calendar.
3. Conduct regular assessments to track student progress in language skills.
4. Organize cultural activities such as Spanish Day celebrations and basic conversation practice.
5. Collaborate with other PRT teachers to integrate language learning across subjects.
6. Maintain accurate attendance and performance records for each student.
7. Communicate with parents about student progress and participation in Spanish class.
8. Participate in staff meetings and school events as scheduled by the administration.
9. Use simple visual aids and songs to reinforce vocabulary and grammar.

Eligibility Criteria

Must Have
- Graduate degree in any discipline
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
- 3 years of teaching experience with primary students
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
- Basic understanding of child psychology and classroom management

Good to Have
- CTET or TET qualification
- Previous experience teaching foreign languages in Indian schools
- Familiarity with NCERT or CBSE language teaching frameworks
- Exposure to bilingual or multilingual teaching environments
- Willingness to participate in professional development workshops

Preferred Skills

- Ability to create interactive and fun Spanish lessons for young learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and parents
- Patience and adaptability to different learning paces
- Basic knowledge of digital tools for lesson preparation and delivery
