About This Role
This leadership role at Shiksha Bharati Global School shapes the creative vision for art and craft activities across the school. What You Will Do
Develop and implement the annual art and craft calendar in line with school events and festivals celebrated in Dwarka and South West Delhi. Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of art exhibitions, competitions, and inter-house art fairs.
Oversee the maintenance of art studios, storage rooms, and display areas across the school premises. Ensure safety standards are followed while handling materials like clay, paints, and cutting tools used by students.
Supervise a team of art facilitators and craft instructors, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance. Organize monthly staff meetings to discuss upcoming activities and address any operational challenges.
Prepare quarterly budgets for art supplies, printing, and external artist visits. Present reports to the school administration on expenditure and program outcomes for review.
Liaise with external vendors for bulk purchases of quality art materials at competitive rates. Negotiate contracts for art workshops and guest sessions to enrich the student experience.
Plan and execute teacher training sessions on innovative art techniques and classroom management. Ensure facilitators are updated on the latest trends in art education relevant to South West Delhi schools.
Maintain an inventory of all art equipment and consumables with digital tracking. Replace or replenish items before shortages affect ongoing projects.
What You Will Get
Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Applied Arts, or Craft Design from a recognized university. Minimum 2 years of experience in art program coordination or administration in a school or educational institution.
Prior experience in managing art studios, events, or workshops is preferred. Familiarity with budgeting and vendor management will be an advantage.
