Role Summary
Shiksha Bharati Global School, a leading school in Dwarka, South West Delhi, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Counsellor to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding students in their academic and career choices, and will work closely with the school administration to develop and implement career guidance programs.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Develop and implement career guidance programs for students in grades 9-12, including workshops, seminars, and one-on-one counselling sessions.
2. Conduct career assessments and provide guidance to students on their academic and career options.
3. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
4. Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate career guidance into the curriculum.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to provide students with information on post-secondary options.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in career guidance and education.
7. Participate in school events and activities, as needed.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as education, psychology, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in career counselling or a related field is also required. Applicants should be proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
