Role Summary
Green Fields School is looking for a Dance Teacher for its campus in Kapashera, South West Delhi. This role sits at the intersection of creative arts and school administration, where the Dance Teacher will shape cultural events and manage dance-related activities across grades.
What You Will Do
Organise monthly dance showcases that align with Green Fields School’s annual calendar and local community festivals.
Coordinate with the cultural committee to book performance venues and manage logistics for inter-school competitions.
Train student groups for Republic Day and Independence Day performances held on the school grounds.
Oversee the maintenance of dance studio equipment and ensure all props are accounted for at the start and end of each term.
Liaise with parents during recital rehearsals to share schedules and address concerns promptly.
Document student progress in a simple register and submit monthly attendance sheets to the administration.
Assist the principal in preparing cultural reports for parent-teacher meetings and school newsletters.
Plan the annual dance day event, including budgeting for costumes and inviting local judges.
Who Can Apply
Must Have: Graduate in any discipline with minimum two years of experience in school dance coordination or cultural event management.
Good to Have: Basic understanding of Indian classical or contemporary dance forms, familiarity with school cultural events in Delhi NCR.
Preferred Skills
Strong leadership to guide junior staff during large-scale performances.
Clear communication to explain event plans to students, parents, and vendors.
Organisational ability to handle multiple rehearsals and last-minute changes smoothly.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.17,000 to Rs.32,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
