Job Overview
Shiksha Bharati Global School in Dwarka, South West Delhi, Delhi is seeking an experienced Dance Teacher to join our team as a member of the school's administrative staff. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the dance program and overseeing its implementation across various levels of the school.
What You Will Do
1. Oversee the administration of the dance program, including planning, organizing, and coordinating events and activities.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the dance program to ensure its smooth functioning.
3. Manage the budget for the dance program, ensuring that funds are utilized efficiently and effectively.
4. Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate dance into the school's curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
5. Recruit and train dance instructors, and supervise their work to ensure high-quality instruction.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with parents, students, and the local community to promote the dance program.
7. Plan and execute performances, concerts, and other dance-related events.
8. Maintain accurate records and reports of the dance program's activities and achievements.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this position, you should have a postgraduate degree in a relevant field (B.Ed./D.El.Ed. preferred, but not mandatory). Additionally, you should have at least two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a school setting. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, is essential.
Preferred Skills
A degree in dance or a related field is highly desirable. Experience in managing a dance program, including budgeting, planning, and execution, is also a significant advantage. Strong leadership and communication skills are required to effectively manage the dance program and its staff.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.20,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. Other benefits, including medical insurance and paid leave, will also be provided.
