About This Role
The LAB ASSISTANT position at Shiksha Bharati Global School in Dwarka, South West Delhi plays a key role in maintaining smooth laboratory operations. This role ensures safe and efficient handling of equipment, chemicals, and student activities under supervision. Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare and organize lab materials before each practical session.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all laboratory areas.
Assist faculty during experiments by setting up required apparatus and chemicals.
Monitor inventory and report shortages of lab supplies to the coordinator.
Ensure proper disposal of waste according to safety guidelines.
Coordinate with external vendors for timely delivery of lab equipment and consumables.
Train new students on basic lab etiquette and safety protocols.
Document lab usage records and maintain accurate registers for audit purposes.
Who Can Apply
Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field, minimum 2 years of lab experience in a school or college setting.
Good to Have: Experience in a school laboratory environment, familiarity with safety protocols, basic computer skills for inventory management.
