About This Role
As a PRT Art And Craft Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Art and Craft to students from Grade 1 to 5. You will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment. Your role will also involve developing the artistic skills of our students, encouraging creativity, and promoting self-expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Art and Craft lessons to Grade 1 to 5 students
- Assess student progress and maintain detailed records
- Create and display student artwork in the school gallery
- Develop and implement new Art and Craft projects and activities
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Art and Craft with other subjects
- Communicate with parents about student progress and artwork
- Attend school events and exhibitions
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or a related field. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required, and a TET or CTET certification is preferred. You must also have at least 2 years of teaching experience in Art and Craft.
Salary and Benefits
