What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver dance lessons aligned with Veer Public School’s curriculum for PRT classes.
2. Teach classical, folk, and contemporary dance forms to students aged 6 to 12.
3. Organize and lead dance performances during school events and annual functions.
4. Prepare students for inter-school dance competitions and cultural fests.
5. Maintain discipline and safety during dance practice sessions.
6. Create simple choreography suitable for young learners.
7. Use age-appropriate music and attire for dance sessions.
8. Collaborate with music and art teachers for cross-curricular activities.
9. Keep records of student progress in dance skills.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Graduate degree in any discipline
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching dance in schools
- Knowledge of Indian dance forms and basic choreography
- Ability to work with children in primary classes
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in teaching in Delhi-NCR schools
- Participation in dance workshops or training programs
- Familiarity with online teaching tools for virtual classes
- Passion for promoting cultural arts in education
