Holy Heart Sec School, Delhi seeks a PRT Social Science Teacher to join the faculty in Najafgarh, South West Delhi. Reporting and scope
The teacher reports directly to the Head of Department and collaborates with fellow faculty on curriculum development and assessment.
Core duties
Student Instruction
Prepare and deliver lesson plans that cover history, geography, political science, and sociology. Use diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students grasp core concepts.
Assessment and Feedback
Design formative and summative assessments, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Curriculum Development
Assist in updating the Social Science syllabus to reflect current educational standards and incorporate local context relevant to Najafgarh.
Classroom Management
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, participation, and academic integrity.
Professional Development
Engage in continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and peer collaboration to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on Social Science trends.
Qualification and experience
Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Two years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and location
Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000 per month. Full‑time position based at Holy Heart Sec School, Delhi in Najafgarh, South West Delhi.
