Collaborate with other teachers to integrate theatre activities into curriculum-based projects, ensuring alignment with school values. Organize school performances, including inter-house competitions and cultural events, to showcase student talent. Mentor younger students in basic theatre skills while guiding older students in advanced techniques. Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, adapting lessons to diverse learning needs.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a minimum of two years of teaching experience. Possess a strong foundation in theatre arts, including practical experience in directing, improvisation, or performance. Experience in working with school-age children is essential, especially in creative and extracurricular settings. Familiarity with Delhi’s cultural heritage and ability to incorporate local traditions into lessons would be an asset. Basic knowledge of educational technology for digital theatre resources is a plus.
