Coordinate with external professionals for referrals when specialised support is required.
Organise workshops on mental health, exam stress management, and life skills for students and parents. Collaborate with the school’s administrative team to integrate well-being into the school calendar and policies. Lead awareness campaigns during festivals and exam periods to support students in Dwarka.
Train teachers and support staff on identifying early signs of distress in students. Conduct classroom observations to assess the social dynamics that may impact learning. Work with the leadership team to develop intervention strategies for students facing personal or academic difficulties.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Child Development is mandatory. Minimum 2 years of experience in school counselling, preferably in a South Delhi school environment. Prior experience in designing mental health programs for adolescents will be preferred.
Familiarity with local challenges faced by students in Dwarka and South West Delhi is an advantage. Knowledge of Indian school systems and student demographics is beneficial. Certification in counselling or related fields will be considered during selection.
