Job Overview

What You Will Do
Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions for students in Grades 1 to 12.
Assess behavioural and emotional patterns to identify students needing additional support.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to address academic and personal challenges.
Organise workshops on stress management, study skills, and emotional regulation.
Maintain confidential student records and update progress reports regularly.
Attend staff meetings to share insights on student welfare and classroom dynamics.
Assist in creating a safe and inclusive environment across school premises.
Work closely with the school administration to implement mental health policies.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Graduation in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling from a recognised university.
Minimum 2 years of experience in school or clinical counselling settings.
Fluency in Hindi and English; knowledge of local dialects preferred.
Good to Have
Postgraduate degree in Psychology or related field.
Experience in crisis intervention or special needs support.
Training in CBT, REBT, or other therapeutic techniques.
Preferred Skills
Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with students and parents.
Ability to lead team discussions and present findings to school leadership.
Organisational skills to manage caseloads and administrative tasks efficiently.

Salary offered is Rs.18,000 - Rs.33,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
