Key Responsibilities
As a senior Science department member at Jm International School, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing an engaging Science curriculum for students from classes VI to X
* Conducting regular observations of junior staff members and providing constructive feedback for growth
* Collaborating with colleagues to improve board results and maintain high academic standards
* Designing and delivering workshops for teachers on Science pedagogy and best practices
* Coordinating Science events, exhibitions, and competitions to foster student interest and participation
* Managing the Science department's budget and resources effectively
* Communicating regularly with parents and guardians on student progress and Science-related issues
* Assisting in the development of Science department policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
* A post-graduate degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Maths) from a recognized university
* A valid B.Ed. degree or D.El.Ed. with a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching Science
* Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared NET or SET in Science
