Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, organize, and execute chess tournaments, matches, and workshops for students at Adarsh Senior Secondary School.
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive chess curriculum aligned with the school's academic goals.
3. Provide coaching and guidance to students, identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies for success.
4. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to promote the chess program and ensure alignment with school policies.
5. Recruit and manage chess teams, ensuring proper training and participation in local, national, and international competitions.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with chess clubs, organizations, and experts to provide opportunities for students.
7. Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas of improvement and making recommendations for program development.
8. Participate in Chess Coach Recruitment in Delhi to stay updated on best practices and share expertise with peers.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree and at least 2 years of experience as a Chess Coach. A Bachelor's in Physical Education or Sports Science is desirable. Knowledge of TET and CTET is not mandatory for this position.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of chess strategies, rules, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Ability to work with students of various age groups and skill levels.
- Familiarity with chess software and online platforms.
- Experience with tournament management and coordination.
