Computer Lab Assistant Job in West Delhi, Delhi | School Vacancy — Immediate requirement.
Role Summary
The Computer Lab Assistant will oversee daily operations of the computer lab at Happy Senior School Kirti Nagar New Delhi. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, software updates, and assisting students and staff with technical issues. This full-time position requires hands-on experience and quick problem-solving in a school environment.
What You Will Do
1. Maintain and troubleshoot 30 desktop computers, printers, and peripherals in the lab.
2. Install, update, and configure educational software and operating systems weekly.
3. Assist students during scheduled lab hours with assigned computer-based tasks.
4. Monitor internet usage to ensure compliance with school policy and safety norms.
5. Prepare lab reports on hardware status, software licenses, and lab usage statistics.
6. Coordinate with IT vendors for repairs and warranty claims within Patel Nagar.
7. Train new students on basic computer operations and lab etiquette every session.
8. Keep the lab clean, organized, and ready for classes at all times.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is required. Minimum three years of experience in a school or college computer lab is mandatory. Proficiency in Windows and MS Office is essential. Basic networking knowledge and hardware troubleshooting skills are preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with educational software like CBSE-approved e-learning tools. Ability to handle multiple tasks during peak hours without supervision. Familiarity with classroom management software used in Happy Senior School Kirti Nagar New Delhi. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English for interacting with students and staff.
Salary and Benefits
