About This Role
St Marks Sr Sec Public School Delhi is looking for a Music Teacher to lead its cultural and musical activities. This role focuses on organizing events, managing student performances, and maintaining musical instruments. The position requires strong administrative skills and a passion for music education.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and execute annual cultural programs and inter-house music competitions.
2. Coordinate with external agencies for stage decorations, sound systems, and lighting arrangements.
3. Supervise the music room, ensuring instruments are in working condition and inventory is maintained.
4. Collaborate with the principal and coordinators to align music events with school themes.
5. Train selected students for national-level music festivals and competitions.
6. Document student achievements in music-related activities for school records.
7. Assist in organizing farewell functions, annual days, and other school events.
8. Liaise with parents regarding student participation in music programs.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in music coordination or event management are eligible. Knowledge of Hindi and English is essential. Basic computer proficiency for preparing event reports and presentations is required.
Preferred Skills
Experience in managing school-level music events is mandatory. Familiarity with Indian classical, western, or folk music is preferred. Ability to work under tight
