Physical Education Teacher Job in West Delhi, Delhi | School Vacancy — Immediate requirement
Role Summary
Immediate opening for a Physical Education Teacher at Rp Mem Sr Sec Public School Mohan Garde in Patel Nagar, West Delhi. This is a full-time administrative role requiring leadership in sports planning and student fitness programs.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and execute the annual sports calendar for the school, ensuring participation across all classes.
2. Organize inter-house tournaments and coordinate with external agencies for sports events.
3. Maintain records of student fitness assessments and sports achievements for reporting to the management.
4. Oversee the upkeep of sports infrastructure, including playgrounds, gymnasium, and equipment.
5. Collaborate with class teachers to integrate physical activity into daily routines for all students.
6. Supervise the school’s participation in district-level and inter-school sports competitions.
7. Conduct regular staff briefings to align sports activities with academic schedules.
8. Prepare progress reports on student fitness metrics and submit them to the principal every term.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is required. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office and Excel is necessary for record-keeping and reporting.
Preferred Skills
Experience in sports administration or coaching in a school setting is preferred. Knowledge of NEP 2020 guidelines for physical education will be an added advantage. Strong communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and external stakeholders are essential.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a salary in the range of Rs.30,000 to Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience. Benefits include PF, ESI, and access to school transport facilities.
