PRT Art And Craft Teacher Job in West Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment

This role focuses on inspiring young minds through creative hands-on activities, blending traditional and modern art techniques to nurture imagination and fine motor skills.
To lead engaging Art And Craft sessions, you will design and implement age-appropriate projects, ensuring children develop both artistic skills and cultural awareness. Plan and execute weekly lesson plans that include material preparation, safety guidelines, and interactive demonstrations. Organize art exhibitions and events to showcase student work, fostering a sense of pride and achievement.
Teach basic art principles such as color theory, texture, and composition in a fun, interactive manner. Use locally available materials like recycled paper, natural dyes, and handmade crafts to keep projects budget-friendly and sustainable. Maintain a clean, organized classroom space with proper storage for tools and supplies.
Assist in assessing student progress through creative evaluations, such as portfolios and peer reviews, while documenting achievements in the school’s digital or physical records. Participate in staff meetings to share innovative teaching methods and receive feedback on your Art And Craft pedagogy.
Ensure all activities comply with school safety protocols, especially when handling materials like glue, paint, and crafting tools. Work closely with the principal and art coordinator to refine lesson plans and address student feedback. Stay updated on new art education trends and integrate them into your teaching approach.

A graduate background in relevant subjects is also acceptable. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in primary schools, is required. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
