Own the annual Art And Craft exhibition calendar, coordinating with other PRTs to integrate themes across subjects. Develop low-cost, high-impact teaching aids and resource kits for every unit, keeping materials aligned with the school budget.
Conduct monthly teacher mentoring sessions for junior Art And Craft faculty, demonstrating classroom strategies and resource sharing. Organize inter-house Art And Craft competitions every term and document student progress through portfolios. Liaise with the school librarian to source craft books and digital resources for reference corner setup.
Introduce basic art history segments in grade V, linking famous artists to student projects. Collaborate with the IT coordinator to integrate simple digital art tools like MS Paint or Scratch Jr. in designated periods. Contribute to parent-teacher meetings with sample portfolios to showcase class progress and individual growth.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Fine Arts or Visual Arts is required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for this PRT Art And Craft Teacher vacancy in West Delhi. TET or CTET is preferred but not compulsory for this position at Gd Goenka Public School.
