- Assess students’ work and provide constructive feedback during class.
- Maintain a clean, safe and inspiring learning environment for creative exploration.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Plan and deliver thematic units aligned with the school curriculum and national standards.
- Coordinate with other teachers to integrate art projects into interdisciplinary learning.
- Organise student exhibitions, craft fairs and inter‑class competitions to showcase talent.
- Update lesson plans and resource lists to reflect evolving artistic trends and student interests.
Periodic responsibilities
- Participate in school art and craft workshops and community outreach events.
- Contribute to the annual arts calendar, including school festivals and cultural celebrations.
- Review and report on student progress in art portfolios for parent‑teacher meetings.
Qualification and experience
Graduate degree required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for teaching positions. TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Minimum 2 years of experience teaching art and craft to school students.
Salary and location
