About This Role
G.d Goenka School is seeking a qualified Dance Teacher for our PRT Dance Teacher Vacancy in West Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Dance to students in various age groups, designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and contributing to the overall development of the school's Dance program.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Teach Dance classes to students in various age groups, including primary and secondary levels.
2. Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Develop and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Dance with other subjects.
6. Attend school events and functions, including parents' meetings and concerts.
7. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
8. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
9. Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- 2 years of experience in teaching Dance
- Strong knowledge of Dance techniques and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
- CTET or TET certification
- Experience in teaching students with special needs
- Familiarity with Dance assessment tools and techniques
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Dance techniques, including Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Contemporary
- Familiarity with music and movement education
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Familiarity with technology and digital tools for teaching and learning
