PRT Dance Teacher Job in West Delhi, Delhi | School Recruitment
Gd Goenka School in Rajouri Garden, West Delhi, is looking for a PRT Dance Teacher to join its creative team. This is a full-time role for a graduate with three years of dance teaching experience in a school setting.
What you will do
Plan and conduct engaging dance classes for primary students.
Teach Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Hip-Hop, and contemporary styles.
Organize school dance performances and annual day events.
Create age-appropriate choreography and lesson plans.
Assess student progress through simple observations and feedback.
Collaborate with music and arts teachers for cross-curricular projects.
Maintain clean and safe practice spaces in the school’s dance studio.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student growth.
Support school assemblies and festive celebrations with dance items.
What you need
Graduation in any discipline.
Minimum three years of dance teaching experience in a school.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
Familiarity with Indian classical and contemporary dance forms.
Willingness to work in West Delhi’s school environment.
Skills that matter
Strong command of dance techniques and pedagogy.
Ability to connect with young learners.
Organizational skills for event planning.
Creativity in lesson design.
Basic knowledge of music and rhythm.
