Role Summary (senior English department role)

- Take ownership of the English curriculum and work closely with the Head of Department to ensure its implementation.
- Analyze and improve board results for English by identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to enhance student performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate English with other subjects and promote interdisciplinary learning.
- Develop and manage the English department's resources, including textbooks, materials, and equipment.
- Represent the English department in school events and participate in staff meetings to share best practices and ideas.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in English language teaching and learning and apply this knowledge to improve teaching and learning in the department.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a B.Ed. degree and at least 5 years of teaching experience in English. A NET (National Eligibility Test) or SET (State Eligibility Test) certification is preferred but not mandatory. You should have a strong academic background in English and be well-versed in teaching English to students from Class I to V.
