Role Summary

How You Will Teach

You will also be expected to create and maintain online resources, including Google Classroom and LMS, to support student learning.
What You Will Do
- Teach Environmental Science and related subjects to students in grades 1-5.
- Plan and deliver lessons that integrate technology, such as smart boards and multimedia presentations.
- Create and maintain online resources, including Google Classroom and LMS.
- Use digital tools to track student progress and provide feedback.
- Develop and implement project-based learning activities that incorporate Environmental Science concepts.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop integrated units that incorporate multiple subjects, including Science, Math, and Language Arts.
- Use technology to facilitate parent-teacher communication and keep parents informed about student progress.
- Participate in school-wide professional development initiatives to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment framework.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Science, or a related field.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience.
- Familiarity with digital tools and technology integration in the classroom.
Preferred Skills
- Digital literacy and online teaching tools.
- Experience with Google Classroom, LMS, and smart boards.
- Familiarity with project-based learning and inquiry-based learning approaches.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
