Job Overview
As a senior PRT Mathematics Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic journey of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to teach Mathematics to students from Classes VI to XII, ensuring that they grasp the concepts and develop problem-solving skills. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and instructional materials for our school.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Mathematics classes, taking into account the learning needs and abilities of our students.
- Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback to parents and students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement Mathematics projects and activities that foster critical thinking and creativity.
- Mentor junior teachers and provide guidance on pedagogy, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Analyze and interpret Mathematics examination results, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents, sharing student progress and seeking feedback.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events, promoting Mathematics education and awareness.
- Contribute to the development of Mathematics-related policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of student grades, attendance, and progress.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution and have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics. A strong academic background in Mathematics, with a graduation degree in the subject, is also essential. While not mandatory, a NET or SET qualification in Mathematics will be considered an added advantage.
