Role Summary
The PRT Sanskrit Teacher will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit language and literature to students in grades 6-12, developing and implementing engaging curriculum, and contributing to the overall academic excellence of the school.
What You Will Do
- Teach Sanskrit language and literature to students in grades 6-12, adhering to the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans, incorporating digital tools and multimedia resources.
- Prepare students for board exams, providing individualized attention and guidance.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning, ensuring alignment with school goals.
- Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging student participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.
- Conduct regular assessments, providing constructive feedback to students.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Sanskrit language and literature, applying this knowledge in the classroom.
- Participate in staff meetings, contributing to school-wide discussions and decision-making.
Eligibility Criteria
- A graduate degree in Sanskrit with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- A minimum of three years of teaching experience in a reputable school.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Sanskrit language and literature, with the ability to convey this to students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
