About This Role
Deepanshu Public Sr. Sec. School invites a PRT Science Teacher to anchor the middle-school science stream for grades 1 to 5. The position is full-time, located in Patel Nagar, West Delhi. Two years of classroom experience in primary science is expected; B.Ed/D.El.Ed is mandatory.
What You Will Do
Plan weekly science themes aligned with NCERT for grades 1–5.
Prepare low-cost experiments using everyday materials from Patel Nagar markets.
Conduct hands-on demonstrations in the small but well-lit lab corner.
Create simple worksheets and activity sheets in Hindi and English.
Organize monthly science corners where students display projects.
Collaborate with the art teacher to build 3D models of the solar system.
Attend fortnightly subject meetings to review curriculum pacing.
Communicate progress to parents during PTMs and through WhatsApp groups.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with B.Ed/D.El.Ed and two years of primary science teaching experience may apply. TET/CTET is preferred but not compulsory. Familiarity with Delhi Government school routines is an advantage.
Salary and Benefits
The monthly salary ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 based on experience. Deepanshu Public Sr. Sec. School offers EPF contributions, annual health check-ups, and subsidized canteen meals.
