About This Role
Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Patel Nagar, West Delhi is looking for a qualified and experienced PRT Social Science Teacher to join our team. As a PRT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from classes 6 to 12.
What You Will Do
- Teach Social Science to classes 6 to 12 as per the CBSE syllabus
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, exams, and activities to engage students
- Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide feedback
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events
- Coordinated with other teachers to ensure smooth functioning of the school
- Maintained student records, attendance, and progress reports
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related subject
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
- TET/CTET certification (desirable but not essential)
Good to Have
- Master's degree in Social Science or related subject
- Experience in teaching Social Science to classes 6 to 12
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns
Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing school needs
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
