About This Role
You will shape the understanding of Social Science for young learners in West Delhi at Sm Arya Public School Punjabi Bagh. Your lessons will connect history, geography, and civics to the world students see every day around Punjabi Bagh and beyond. Your Students

Your role is to build their curiosity about India’s past, global cultures, and civic responsibilities using age-appropriate methods.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Social Science lessons for Classes 1 to 5 that align with CBSE guidelines. Use storytelling, charts, and group activities to explain history and geography topics clearly. Prepare monthly unit plans that include worksheets and simple projects for young learners.
Organize classroom discussions on current events relevant to students’ lives in West Delhi. Encourage students to share their observations about local markets, festivals, and neighbourhoods through Social Science perspectives. Keep records of student participation and progress in notebooks and school registers.
Conduct periodic assessments through quizzes and short written tasks to check understanding. Provide feedback to students and parents during PTMs using simple language. Collaborate with other PRT teachers to plan cross-curricular activities involving Social Science themes.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution. Minimum three years of teaching experience in Social Science for primary classes. Familiarity with CBSE Social Science syllabus for Classes 1 to 5 preferred.
