Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
2. Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure that students with special needs receive the necessary support and accommodations.
3. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
4. Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to support students with challenging behaviors.
5. Provide support and guidance to teachers in creating inclusive classroom environments.
6. Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress.
7. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in special education.
8. Liaise with parents and external agencies to ensure that students receive necessary support and services.
Required Qualifications
A graduate degree in Special Education or a related field is required. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification.
