Prepare and deliver engaging science lessons for classes 6 to 8, aligning with the school curriculum and state standards.
Use a variety of instructional methods, including demonstrations, experiments, and interactive discussions to foster conceptual understanding.
Maintain a safe laboratory environment and supervise practical sessions, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Planning and Assessment
Design lesson plans, weekly schedules, and unit outlines that incorporate formative and summative assessment strategies.
Analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and adjust instruction accordingly.
Prepare and administer quizzes, tests, and project assessments, providing constructive feedback to students.
Student Support
Offer additional help to students requiring extra guidance, arranging remedial sessions or study groups as needed.
Collaborate with parents and school counsellors to support students’ academic progress and well‑being.
Coordination and Administration
Assist in coordinating inter‑class science competitions and school science fairs.
Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson logs, and laboratory inventory.
Participate in faculty meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on best teaching practices.
Qualifications and Skills
Graduate in Science or related field; B.Sc. preferred.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET is a plus.
Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.
Ability to use digital tools for lesson planning and student assessment.
