Role Summary
Happy Senior School Kirti Nagar New Delhi requires a skilled and experienced Vocalist to lead its music department. As a Vocalist, you will play a vital role in shaping the musical talents of our students and contributing to the vibrant cultural life of our school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Convene and moderate music department meetings to discuss curriculum and performance plans.
- Collaborate with school administrators to create and manage the annual school music calendar.
- Recruit and mentor student vocalists for school performances and competitions.
- Develop and implement effective vocal training programs for students of various skill levels.
- Coordinate logistics and arrangements for school music events, festivals, and concerts.
- Work closely with the school's arts and cultural committee to promote music education and appreciation.
- Provide guidance and support to students participating in music competitions and events.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of music department activities and student progress.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must Have:
- Graduate degree in music or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in music education or performance.
- Excellent vocal and teaching skills.
- Good to Have:
- Certification or training in music pedagogy or a related field.
- Experience working with children and young adults.
- Familiarity with Indian classical or folk music traditions.
Preferred Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may include opportunities for professional development, health insurance, and a contributory pension plan.
