Rich Harvest Public School is expanding its wellness initiatives in West Delhi and invites applications for a full-time Yoga Teacher Position in West Delhi, Delhi. Job Overview
The Yoga Teacher will lead morning and evening sessions for students and staff at Rich Harvest Public School’s Patel Nagar campus. Responsibilities include curriculum planning, resource procurement, and maintaining discipline during sessions. Regular reporting to the school’s administration on attendance and progress is expected.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Conduct structured yoga sessions for students from classes 1 to 12 as per NCERT wellness guidelines.
2. Organize quarterly wellness fairs and parent participation events in West Delhi.
3. Maintain daily attendance records and submit progress reports to the principal.
4. Source yoga mats, blocks, and props; manage inventory within the allocated budget.
5. Coordinate with the sports department for joint wellness events and inter-house competitions.
6. Lead teacher training workshops on stress management for staff twice a year.
7. Ensure the yoga hall is clean, ventilated, and ready for sessions before 6:30 AM.
8. Prepare annual wellness reports for the school’s governing body.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in yoga instruction. Certification from a recognized yoga institute is mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office for maintaining records and communication. Familiarity with school ERP systems will be an advantage.
Preferred Skills
Experience in designing age-specific yoga modules for children. Ability to conduct stress management workshops for adolescents. Knowledge of Ayurveda basics and meditation techniques for school settings.
What You Get
