TGT Hindi Teacher Position at Geneva Liberal School, Ahmedabad
Geneva Liberal School in Ahmedabad seeks a dedicated TGT Hindi Teacher to strengthen its Hindi language curriculum across Class 9 to 12. This role focuses on fostering linguistic skills, cultural appreciation, and creative expression through engaging classroom practices. The successful candidate will contribute to shaping students’ proficiency while aligning with the school’s emphasis on holistic education.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct interactive Hindi lessons covering grammar, literature, composition, and cultural studies. Prepare engaging teaching aids like flashcards, worksheets, and multimedia presentations to enhance learning. Monitor student progress in real-time to address gaps and reinforce strengths. Ensure classroom management remains orderly, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop lesson plans that integrate modern teaching methods, such as storytelling, debates, and language games, to keep students motivated. Collaborate with the Hindi department to design unit-wise assessments, including oral and written evaluations. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum updates and student performance trends. Maintain detailed records of student assignments, attendance, and feedback for administrative review.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend workshops or training sessions to refine teaching techniques and stay updated on educational reforms in Hindi pedagogy. Organize cultural events or competitions (e.g., poetry recitals, essay writing contests) to celebrate Hindi heritage. Review and update teaching resources periodically to ensure alignment with latest syllabus standards.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Hindi or a related field. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience, preferably in Hindi at the TGT level. Possession of TET/CTET certification is an asset but not mandatory. Strong command of Hindi language, both written and spoken, with proficiency in teaching diverse learning levels.
Salary and Location
