PGT Physical Education Teacher Job in Dahom, Gujarat | School Recruitment
St. Marys School in Dahod, Gujarat is looking for a full‑time PGT Physical Education Teacher. The role involves delivering the Physical Education curriculum to senior classes and promoting a healthy, active environment for students.
Responsibilities
1. Plan and conduct engaging Physical Education lessons for classes IX to XII in line with the school syllabus.
2. Assess student performance through practical tests, projects and written evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
3. Organise and supervise intra‑school sports events, competitions and annual sports day.
4. Maintain equipment, ensure safety standards, and manage the sports facilities efficiently.
5. Mentor students on fitness, nutrition and overall well‑being, encouraging lifelong healthy habits.
6. Collaborate with senior staff to integrate co‑curricular activities and support overall school development.
7. Prepare and submit timely reports on student progress, attendance and activity outcomes.
Qualifications
- Post‑graduate degree in Physical Education or related discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential.
- TET/CTET certification preferred.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level.
Salary
Rs.35,000 - Rs.60,000 per month
