Role Summary
Swariinim International School Gandhinagar invites applications for the position of Sports Teacher. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing sports activities for students from grades 1 to 12. The Sports Teacher ensures the smooth functioning of inter-house and inter-school sports events while maintaining discipline and safety standards.
What You Will Do
Organize daily sports sessions for students across different age groups.
Plan and conduct inter-house competitions in cricket, football, athletics, and indoor games.
Coordinate with external coaches for specialized sports training programs.
Maintain sports equipment inventory and ensure timely procurement and repairs.
Supervise students during practice sessions and matches to prevent injuries.
Collaborate with the school administration to schedule sports events in the academic calendar.
Keep records of student participation, performance, and achievements in sports.
Report to the Head of Sports on weekly progress and upcoming events.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Graduation in Physical Education or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sports coaching or administration in a school setting.
Familiarity with organizing school-level sports tournaments.
Good to Have
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on physical education.
Experience in handling sports equipment and facility management.
Skills We Value
Strong leadership to guide student teams during competitions.
Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
Organizational abilities to manage multiple sports events efficiently.
