Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced PRT Dance Teacher to lead our dance program at Pranami Global School Jamnagar. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging dance lessons that promote creativity, physical fitness, and self-expression in our students. Your expertise in dance will help us to develop a comprehensive dance program that aligns with the national curriculum and fosters a love for the arts in our students.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging dance lessons for students in grades 1-10
- Design and deliver dance workshops and performances that showcase students' talents
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute school events and festivals
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to students
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes physical activity and self-expression
- Develop and implement dance-related projects that integrate with other subjects
- Mentor and guide students with varying levels of dance experience and ability
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and programs
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree with a strong background in dance. A certificate in teaching (CTET) would be an added advantage, but it is not mandatory. You should have at least 3 years of experience in teaching dance to students of varying ages and abilities. You must be flexible, creative, and willing to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our school's goals.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
