Music (PRT) Vacancy in Godhra, Panchmahal, Gujarat
Shree Swaminarayan Gadi International Techno School | Godhra
Job Description
Teaching music to students in Panchmahal’s schools means guiding young minds through rhythm, melody, and instrument basics in a structured yet engaging way. This role involves blending classroom instruction with creative activities to develop musical skills across different grades.
The scope of this position includes delivering foundational music education, covering singing, instrumental playing, and basic music theory. You’ll teach students how to read sheet music, understand musical notation, and explore instruments like the keyboard, guitar, or percussion. Lessons will be tailored to align with school curricula while encouraging creativity and cultural appreciation through music.
Core academic duties include planning and conducting weekly music classes, ensuring students grasp fundamental concepts like scales, tempo, and musical forms. You’ll also facilitate group performances and small ensembles to build confidence and teamwork. The school values hands-on learning, so practical sessions—like group singing or instrument workshops—will be a key part of your work.
Assessment and planning duties ensure students progress effectively. You’ll design simple yet effective evaluation methods, such as quizzes, demonstrations, and participation in school music events. Regular feedback will help students improve, while lesson plans will be adjusted based on their learning pace and interests.
To qualify, you must hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in schools, is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory for this role, prior experience in music education would be beneficial.
This full-time position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.15,000 to Rs.32,000, based on qualifications and experience. Located in Godhra, Panchmahal, Gujarat, the role comes with the opportunity to shape young musicians’ skills while contributing to the school’s cultural and artistic growth.
