English Language Teacher Position at Greenwood International School

Planning and Preparation
Develop lesson plans based on student assessments and Greenwood’s academic framework. Review teaching materials, textbooks, and resources to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement. Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies and incorporate best practices in English pedagogy.
Student Support and Engagement
Encourage active participation through group discussions, writing exercises, and speaking practice. Provide one-on-one support to students struggling with language concepts, offering extra guidance when needed. Foster a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to improve their English skills.
Coordination and Collaboration
Assist in organizing extracurricular activities, such as poetry readings, debates, or cultural events, to reinforce English usage in real-world contexts. Work with other teachers to create cross-curricular projects that integrate English with other subjects. Represent Greenwood’s English department at parent-teacher meetings or school events.
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation in English-related activities. Assist in preparing reports and assessments to track student development. Support administrative tasks related to classroom management, such as organizing materials or assisting with school events.
This position offers a salary range of Rs.15,000 to Rs.27,000 per month, with a graduate degree as the minimum qualification. Experience in teaching English is preferred, though not mandatory.
