PGT Fine Arts Teacher Position at Smt Dayaben Girjashankar Sheth Safal Vidyalay, Rajkot
We seek an experienced PGT Fine Arts Teacher to lead creative arts education in our esteemed school. This role involves designing and implementing engaging art curriculum, fostering students’ creativity through hands-on projects, and mentoring young artists in drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
Core responsibilities include developing lesson plans aligned with school syllabi, guiding students in practical art workshops, and assessing their progress. You’ll also collaborate with other teachers to integrate fine arts into interdisciplinary learning, ensuring students explore cultural and artistic traditions. Maintaining a vibrant art room, organizing school exhibitions, and encouraging extracurricular art clubs are key duties.
A strong background in fine arts with a postgraduate degree in Fine Arts or a related discipline is essential. Holding a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching roles. Four years of relevant teaching experience in fine arts or a related field will be highly valued.
