PRT Art And Craft Teacher
Mothers International School | Upelta is hiring a PRT Art And Craft Teacher for its campus in Upleta, Rajkot, Gujarat. The role involves delivering creative art and craft lessons to primary students and fostering a vibrant learning environment.
Responsibilities
Teaching
- Conduct engaging Art and Craft classes for primary sections, following the school curriculum and age‑appropriate techniques.
- Demonstrate various art media, guide students in projects, and encourage individual expression.
Planning & Preparation
- Prepare lesson plans, material lists, and visual aids in advance.
- Organize classroom resources and maintain an orderly, safe workspace for creative activities.
Assessment & Feedback
- Observe student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain records of progress.
- Participate in periodic assessments to gauge skill development and suggest improvements.
Student Support & Coordination
- Support students with special needs during art activities, adapting tasks as required.
- Collaborate with senior teachers and school staff to integrate art across the broader curriculum.
Administration
- Keep inventory of art supplies, request replenishments, and ensure proper storage.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred; TET/CTET qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Art and Craft at the primary level.
Salary
Rs.14,000 - Rs.22,000 per month
