Teaching English as the core focus of daily instruction at Dholakiya International School in Gondal
At Dholakiya International School, a TGT English Teacher shapes young minds through structured yet engaging lessons in English language and literature. The role demands a blend of classroom instruction, curriculum development, and student guidance tailored to students’ varying skill levels. Daily tasks include delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and ensuring students grasp grammar, vocabulary, literature, and communication skills effectively.
The scope of this position spans across all English language components—reading, writing, speaking, and listening—across classes from Class I to XII. You will design lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum while adapting teaching methods to suit different learning stages. Interactive sessions, storytelling, debates, and creative writing exercises are part of the teaching approach to keep students motivated.
Assessment and evaluation are integral to this role. You will conduct regular tests, quizzes, and assignments to measure progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas needing improvement. Monthly progress reports will be prepared to share with parents and track student development. Additionally, you will participate in teacher meetings to discuss pedagogical strategies and share best practices with colleagues.
To qualify for this position, a postgraduate degree in English or a related field is mandatory. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required, along with at least two years of teaching experience in English. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career advancement.
This full-time position offers a monthly salary of Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 40,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Located in Gondal, Rajkot, Gujarat, the role provides a supportive environment for professional growth while contributing to the school’s academic excellence.
