Physical Education Teacher Position at The Mindcraft School in Surat
The Mindcraft School in Surat seeks a dedicated PRT (Practicing Teacher) to lead Physical Education classes for students. This role focuses on designing engaging sports activities, maintaining school infrastructure for sports, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. You will also collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into the curriculum while promoting health and fitness among students.
Core duties include planning and teaching a variety of sports—such as basketball, football, and track events—ensuring age-appropriate skill development. You’ll supervise extracurricular sports programs, organize inter-house competitions, and maintain equipment and facilities. Regularly assessing student progress and adapting lessons to improve participation and skill levels is essential.
Experience in teaching Physical Education for at least two years is required, along with a graduate degree. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, while TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, a passion for sports, and the ability to inspire young athletes are key to this role.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.16,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, based on qualifications and performance.
