About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled TGT Gujarati Teacher to join Gd Goenka International School in Surat City, Surat, Gujarat. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Gujarati to students from class 6 to 10. The position is a full-time role and requires a candidate with 4 years of teaching experience.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver Gujarati lessons to students from class 6 to 10.
2. Prepare and grade student assessments and assignments.
3. Maintain student records and attendance.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessments.
5. Participate in school events and activities.
6. Develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
7. Communicate with parents and students regarding student progress.
8. Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
9. Stay updated with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Gujarati or equivalent
- 4 years of teaching experience
- TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
Good to Have:
- M.A. in Gujarati or equivalent
- Additional teaching certifications (e.g. D.El.Ed)

• Strong knowledge of Gujarati language and literature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with technology and digital tools
