Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and conduct daily Physical Education sessions for TGT classes with clear learning outcomes.
Organize inter-house sports events, track & field meets, and yoga sessions every month.
Maintain inventory of sports equipment and report shortages to the administrative team.
Conduct fitness assessments twice a year and share reports with parents.
Supervise students during outdoor activities to ensure safety and discipline.
Collaborate with other TGT teachers to integrate movement into classroom breaks.
Attend staff meetings and contribute to school sports policy updates.
Coordinate with external coaches for specialized training camps during vacations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field with at least 50% marks.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
Experience coaching cricket, football, or athletics in a school setting.
Ability to manage large groups and maintain high energy levels throughout sessions.
Basic knowledge of sports injury prevention and first-aid procedures.
