Shannen School | Vip Road is hiring a full‑time PRT Computer Science Teacher for its primary section in Vadodara. The role involves delivering the computer curriculum to classes I‑V and fostering basic digital literacy among young learners.
Responsibilities
1. Plan and conduct engaging computer lessons aligned with the state syllabus for primary students.
2. Prepare teaching aids, worksheets and simple projects that develop logical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
3. Assess student progress through quizzes, class activities and maintain accurate records of performance.
4. Manage classroom discipline and create a safe, inclusive environment for all learners.
5. Coordinate with senior teachers to integrate computer concepts across other subjects where appropriate.
6. Organise occasional computer clubs or extra‑curricular activities to spark interest in technology.
7. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student achievements and areas for improvement.
8. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events as required.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification and have at least two years of teaching experience in primary computer science. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is preferred and will be considered an advantage. Strong knowledge of basic computing tools, internet safety, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for young children are essential.
Salary and Location
The position offers a salary of Rs.17,000 - Rs.30,000 per month and is based in Vadodara, Gujarat.
