Shannen School | Fatehgunj seeks an experienced Sports Teacher to lead and manage our school’s sports program in Vadodara. This role focuses on organizing, coordinating, and ensuring the smooth operation of extracurricular sports activities, fostering a healthy and competitive environment for students. You will oversee team training, organize inter-school competitions, and maintain equipment and facilities to meet academic and athletic standards.
Your responsibilities will include planning and supervising sports events, such as football, basketball, and track-and-field competitions, to align with school policies and community expectations. You will also collaborate with the school administration to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and funding for sports programs, ensuring financial sustainability. Ensuring student safety during practices and games is critical, so you will implement strict guidelines and report any concerns promptly.
Experience in managing sports teams, coordinating large-scale events, and working with diverse student groups is essential. A graduate degree with at least two years of relevant experience in sports administration or coaching will be preferred. While teaching qualifications like TET/CTET are not mandatory, a strong background in physical education and leadership will be highly valued.
