Job Description
PGT Economics Teacher Position at Pkr Jain Girls Sr Sec School, Ambala
Teach senior secondary economics to students in grades 11 and 12 with a focus on developing analytical and critical thinking skills. Prepare comprehensive lesson plans aligning with the latest CBSE syllabus, ensuring engagement through real-world examples and case studies. Conduct regular assessments to measure understanding and provide timely feedback.
Develop and maintain an inclusive classroom environment where diverse student backgrounds are respected. Collaborate with the economics department to organize workshops, guest lectures, and field visits to enhance learning experiences. Act as a subject mentor for junior teachers when required.
Hold regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns. Ensure proper documentation of student records, including attendance, grades, and extracurricular achievements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment for all students.
Qualifications: A postgraduate degree in Economics with at least four years of relevant teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Experience in teaching senior secondary students preferred.
Salary: Attractive monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 with full-time employment at Pkr Jain Girls Sr Sec School, Ambala.
